Last weekend we visited the gorgeous surrounds of Hawks Nest to take some shots for the Summer range of alicrieswolf.

What was originally planned as a beach shoot turned to the mangroves to utilize the beautiful branches, stark background and highlight the neon in otherwise naturally derived pieces.

First World Friday Frustrations

I've been so creatively frustrated this week! So many different ideas floating around in my head and no free time to put them into action, but such is life and at least I have had time to compile a rather inspiring mood board to spur me into action when the time arises.

I'm not a hippie by any means - I work 9-5 in the middle of the city, I leave lights on all around the house wasting electricity and as much as I try I just cannot stick to an organic diet, but none the less a girl can dream.

 In my dreams I'd be living like the girls in the Sugarhigh Lovestoned pictures, I'm sure there would be dirt in the desert and it would be hot as hell but if you can look this good in those circumstances then why not!

Blue Tuesday

Looking through fashion video's is one of my favourite things to do - think the new Lana Del Ray 'Ride' clip and the videos you get through the Russh ipad app but it seems many brands are now using video to create lookbooks too.

The result of this is often quite magical and the movement can really bring a piece to life but I can't help but think there is something extra special about the carefully selected stills that we love about the traditional lookbook.
