It's fashion week and I'm excited

Pictures from the Romance Was Born runway show at MBAFW have started circulating the internet and I'm tres impressed! The collection is bright, colourful and puts The Big Bang Theory cast's wardrobe to shame. 

This is geeky comic book cool at it's best. Romance Was Born can always be depended on to put on a show but this so on the mark it's ridiculous! It's busy, it's comical, it's structured, it's peplum shapes, it's wide leg pants and sequins.

For those loving The Avengers right now be warned you may drool and I'm happy because there is a print that reminds me of the scarf print I'm so obsessed with right now - big smiles all round!

A little Friday inspiration

Friday afternoon's aren't always fabulous so it's easy to let your mind wander... after looking at Spell Designs new kimono sneak peak last night I got to thinking all things studded...

Studs and various other decorations have been doing the fashion rounds for a few seasons now but they always rate highly on my must have o-meter. The only rule I do try and make is to pair them with something a little soft or girly like the below dreamed up combinations.

Reflecting on a weekend past...

I spent the best part of my Saturday night trawling the web for purchases to make when pay day rolls around at the end of the week, in doing this I stumbled across UK designer J.W Anderson's website. To say the pieces are amazing is an understatement, the detail in the fabric and embellishments are devine and while I can't rush out and buy them these are what I'll be dreaming about this week.

As the long weekend draws to a close...

I have realised I spent a majority of the weekend reading about, thinking about and creating beautiful things. At the top of my thinking about beautiful things list is scarf print, I cannot get enough of it whether it's pants, shirts, homewares or even scarves themselves this print is exotic, old and new all at once - it's love!

The time has come to finally start my blog posting, this has been on countless News Years Resolutions over the years but I'll choose today to begin.
