Does anyone else write on post it's at work with outfit ideas they have to use the following day or later in the week?

With it truly being a month of fashion my habit has escalated as I lust after the many looks around the globe.

Here are a few street style pictures from Milan Fashion Week that have challenged my work outfit decisions of late...

Simply stated - Animal heads

It seems that everything I'm buying from home wares to clothes at the moment incorporates an animal head of some kind - as an animal lover I'm a little disturbed to say that it certainly adds a little something removing the body from the equation!

Here are a few of my favourites as well as a few that may or may not have snuck into my collection recently.

Stud Lovin' Friday

Today I'm wearing leather, studs and floral - this has become a bit of a uniform of mine lately as I constantly trawl Ebay for more studs as well as things I can cover in them!

So as a tribute to my love of a good stud, here are some of the best studded jackets going around and I'll try not to include too much Balmain.

Metallics are shiny and amazing

Of all the amazing inspiration out there at the moment, metallics have been up there with the best so imagine my delight when I saw the pictures emerge from the Burberry SS13 catwalk.

Metallic trench coats = wow!

A signature classic reinvented with shine, nothing I can say will describe my delight so I'll shut my mouth and leave you with the visual evidence.

Loveshady

Over the weekend I spent alot of time in the car, needless to say it was extremely boring but it was even worse when all I wanted to do was look at the Sass & Bide SS13 collection from London Fashion Week and we had no internet coverage, such is regional Australia!

As it happens I am now sitting in the car again writing this post, but I digress...

So the second I got home I was glued to my iPad to catch up on the runway show. Whilst browsing the first thing to catch my eye was the amazing Alison Mosshart sitting front row looking incredible and one of my absolute favourites Cara Delvigne walking.

All of the usual great cuts that we have seen in seasons past were on the catwalk like flowing skirts behind pants and long waistcoats in true superhero style but perhaps in a nod to the sometimes harder lines of British fashion there were some surprisingly rigid shapes appearing on blazers and dresses alike. The colour was fresh white and neutral in tone but wasn't without the famous embellishments that we have grown to love featuring heavily.

Lovin' Somedays Lovin'

You know when that feeling of Spring finally kicks in? I'm feeling that today, so I've been scouring the web for some Summer purchases once pay day hits.

Somedays Lovin' always puts me in a weekend frame of mind even when I sneak it into my work week wardrobe.Their collection 'the two that strayed' makes me feel like I'm heading home for the weekend to get lost in the country and I just might not go back.

A mix of denims, leopard, mesh and plenty off attitude it will it will make you feel country in the best Summer kind of way.
